Therapy for creating a life that feels authentically yours
I work primarily with adults who are queer, transgender, neurodivergent, or practicing ethical non-monogamy and alternative relationship structures.
My clinical background and experience
Hi, I’m Jack. I’m a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a nonbinary, transmasculine therapist. My clinical career has been rooted entirely in private practice, where I’ve supported clients navigating identity, relationships, life transitions, boundaries, self-understanding, and the effects of past experiences. I’m particularly interested in working with people whose identities, relationships, or ways of living may not fit neatly within conventional expectations.
My clinical work is informed by both professional training and lived experience. I bring that perspective into therapy while recognizing that every person’s experience is different. My goal is to offer thoughtful, individualized care that meets you where you are and gives you space to better understand yourself, explore what you want, and create a life that feels authentic to you.
My therapeutic approach
I see therapy as a collaborative process. You know your life better than I do and my role is to help you slow things down, notice patterns, ask useful questions, and make sense of what you're experiencing.
Our work may involve looking at how past experiences continue to affect you, exploring the ways you relate to yourself and others, or examining beliefs and expectations that you've taken for granted. We will also look at the practical things happening in your life right now, including your relationships, boundaries, communication, decisions, and the ways you might want things to change.
I'm particularly interested in helping people distinguish between what they genuinely want and what they've learned they should want. That can be especially important when you're navigating identity, relationships, or a way of living that doesn't fit neatly into conventional expectations.
I don’t assume that there's one right way to live, relate, or be in the world because being a human is a complicated experience. Whether we're talking about gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, monogamy, polyamory, family, or something else entirely, we'll work from your values and your experience rather than society’s expectations of what your life should look like.
I strive to cultivate a space where you can be honest, curious, and even uncertain. You don't need to come into therapy with a clear answer about what's wrong or what needs to change. We will figure that out together.

What you can expect
Therapy with me is a space for honest conversation, reflection, and exploration. First I’ll ask a bit about you and your background. As we build the therapeutic relationship I'll ask questions, offer observations and perspectives, and help you notice patterns that may be difficult to see on your own.
Sometimes therapy means sitting with something that doesn't have an easy answer. Sometimes it means challenging an old belief, practicing a new way of communicating, or figuring out what boundary you actually need to set. Sometimes it simply means having the space to say something out loud for the first time.
I don't expect you to have everything figured out before we begin. We will start wherever you are.
Ultimately, I want therapy to be a space where you can pause, take a breath, and focus on you. If you're looking for a place to step back from the expectations around you, better understand yourself, and figure out what you want moving forward, I invite you to reach out and see if working together could be the right fit for you.
